SAN MATEO COUNTY HISTORY MUSEUM
10:15 am, Tuesday, October 26
It has been a long time since our last excursion together, but we have decided that maybe it is time to do it again - with modifications. Covid Restrictions to join this excursion will include bringing proof of vaccination and wearing a mask.
There will not be a bus; you will have to drive yourself or arrange a carpool. After you enroll, you will receive a map showing two nearby garages for parking.
Meet Clare Gardella on the plaza in front of the San Mateo County History Museum, 2200 Broadway, Redwood City, at 10:15 am on Tuesday, October 26. We will enter the museum at 10:30 am via the back door--no stairs to climb--and meet our docent for a 1 to 1-1/2 hour guided tour of the fascinating and most interesting parts of our county history.
Following the tour, you will be on your own for lunch. Clare will supply a map of the open restaurants within a block of the museum for a fast bite or a relaxing and leisurely meal with old and new friends--eating alone is a no-no.
To join this outing, please call the VSMC Office, 650-260-4569, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Wednesday, October 20. This group will be a maximum of 20 people. If the group gets filled, we will plan an additional exact trip in November.
